Good Fuzz

Looking for a good solid Fuzz pedal to complement what I already have. Looking to to utilize it as a standalone fuzz but also in effect combinations to create synthy tones.
Currently use:
MXR octave
MXR compressor
darkglass b3k
SA MWBD Pro
SA BEF Pro
Boss RV-5 reverb

between the b3k and MWBD i can get a lot of different distortion/overdrive tones, want something solidly FUZZ

IE Oxide can get you some reeeally nice choppy fuzz, creates some killer stuff in conjunction with octave

The BSY600 in octave mode and the IE Oxide are the most prominent effects on that. The treble was really rolled off on both to just give nice deep bass

Man, that tone makes you want to run and hide! And I mean that in the best way! Sounds awesome!

Thanks!

I've been trying to get close to the sound of the Harvester from Terminator Salvation. Meh movie but the sound effects were stellar.

Something just....evil sounding about it haha. The octave shifting with choppy servo sounds on top. Love it. Apparently those sounds were made with a Korg synth

Since you used the term synthy, this is my favorite:

Forgive the guy playing. It's a little amateurish, but you can only do so much on a small budget. lol

My favorite fuzz for bass was the old Russian Big Muff, the tank green ones. I sold mine for three times what I payed for it, and now I wish I didn't! Don't know what they are selling for on ebay now, and every one of those sounds a little different so there are probably better ways to go...

The current EH Bass Big Muff is ok, I own one but there are better fuzzes IMO. The Way Huge Swollen Pickle is the other fuzz I own, and its pretty good, better that the Bass Muff.

If you really want a good fuzz check out the Devi Ever pedals. Fuzz is her specialty and there are many different pedals for all sorts of tastes.
