There's a long list of fuzz songs, here are some bands to check out:
These Arms Are Snakes
Melvins
Russian Circles
Godflesh
Man is the Bastard
lots of Nine Inch Nails tunes
Anything off of Ministry's "Filth Pig" (devastating fuzz tone!)
The cavalry should be coming in soon to help out.

...think it was THE first distorted bass by anyone on record wasn't it? if you listen to it - the bass is actually double-tracked...the "fuzz guitar" is actually bass - you can tell its bass when it starts going really low! - if I'm wrong on that please can someone direct me to the "first distorted bass on record"?
"Mean Mr Mustard" off Abbey Road
"Smile Away" off wings "Ram" Album
Motorhead stuff
Quite a bit on B.R.M.C's first couple of albums...
Joy Division live recordings theres some nice drive (ok its not fuzz, but...)

I'd recommend Lightning Bolt or Big Business for some directly-in-your-face fuzzy bass.
