Great News for PX4D owners!

I have been gasing for a PX5D for the longest, but can't justify the purchase. Just when I was ready to sell some blood, I discovered that you can download (for free) PX5D Sound Editor, which includes 198 patches. Why should you care? Most of the bass patches are easily applied to the PX4D! I got the program from Korg.com. After opening the program, I printed all the patches, then spent a couple of hours inputting them into my trusty PX4D. I'm not much into tweaking my settings, so getting 70 new patches specifically for bass was awesome. It breathed new life into an already awesome tool. If you already knew about this, sorry about the redundancy.

Wow! That's friggin' awesome. I have one and use it quite a lot, especially to record Youtube covers. I'll have to check that out on Korg's website.

I'm in slow mode today... I looked around the Korg website and did not find the sound editor you speak of. Can you provide a link to it? Thanks.

A quick google search found;
http://www.korg.co.uk/products/effec...5d/fx_px5d.asp
Download from the menu in the lower right corner.

Not sure about the US site. They probably want you to pay for it in the US.
BTW, I don't own one of these.

Thanks for the help KO. That is the link that I got the download from. Make sure to click the software button to reveal the software options. I downloaded both the PC and OSX version and both worked flawlessly.

If you have a Mac, use the Grab app to print out each patch. I am experimenting with the Chain program to see if that is usable. I will let you know my results.
