What, in your opinion is the best sounding fuzz you have ever heard?
I'd love a sick fuzz sound but just havent found that sweet creamy, fuzzy-wuzzy smooth, cozy sound i'm looking for in my big muff. |

Once you get to a point of finickyness about fuzz tone, (a) the cheaper production fuzzes won't quite cut it, and (b) only you can decide which one gives you the subtle sound qualities you wish for.
FWIW, germanium fuzzes are especially smooth and "cozy" IMO. |

| | | | Colorsound Tonebender. Chancellor made it famous amongst bass players everywhere, and so many of us either are GAS'ing for one, have bought one, or are trying to borrow one. |

...except comic book movies and remakes.
Anyhow... on the fuzz question... here are my top three contenders in ANY scenario:
- EHX Little Big Muff - The best "budget" fuzz pedal out there.
- Maestro B:Assmaster - The best "boutique" fuzz I've ever heard.
- MXR Blowtorch - My favorite fuzz, without a doubt. While it sounds different than the previous two, it delivers the EXACT sound I was looking for!
