Yes, I searched. Then, I learned. Now, what can you tell me?

A lot of his signal is clean on recordings, but live, it sneaks in there.
I don't know much about the pedal other than what I've read, but if you listen to any MTB, the OD'd stuff is mostly the Greedtone. |

I sort of liked what I heard of Minus The Bear, it just wasn't what I expected. For some reason I had them lumped into the Neurisican band camp for whatever reason. Another OGUM term that never spread to them asses. Hmm.

Nad your choice of terminology is like a pedal that replaces 'gain' with 'badass'. You should come with an instruction manual though.

I'm tempted to sig that second bit, but I might feel it too vain of my person to bear such self-witness whilst residing in this here bass-based e-world. Perhaps.

For bass, I leave it on the low gain setting, with the gain knob around 3ish for a really good distortion, around noon for lighter drive. It has a TON of volume, I don't think I go above 8, maybe 9 for unity volume with my jazz/DJ5.
This is the first time I heard one live, from a MTB show, I was practically sitting on Cory's monitor so I got a good look at the board. A fairly good example of his use is at about 1:40 he clicks it on. I think he uses the less gain setting as well, pick and a P bass. This show he was playing a mesa 400+ and mesa 2x15 cabs? Or maybe they were 8x10 cabs. I can't recall. I think most of the sound is coming from the amp, very small venue and whenever I've played there the monitoring situation blew for bass. http://www.facebook.com/v/535377112829
Let me know if the video link doesn't work, I'll try something else.

I'll have to try a bass through it sometime soon. |
