Green Rhino, Sparkle Drive, & Bluebeard all on their way

I'm so stoked to be getting these 3 pedals coming to me. I'm going to see if I like either of the Tubescreamer clones, & I'm beside myself to try the Bluebeard!!! I've never had a muff because I've always played 5 strings or downtuned 4 strings, & losing low end is a no-no.

I've modded so many pedals & tried a bunch of blenders... Hoping these 3 deliver on their hype (at least 1 of them).

Cool! Bluebeard delivers better than Karl Malone

That's funny! You're showing your age a little on that one, though. Any youngsters on the forum may not remember Karl "the Mail Man" Malone of Jazz fame.

But as for the pedals, I've already received & tried the Green Rhino. Couldn't play it through my regular rig, so just used a little Mesa Walkabout. Sounds really wooly & cool, so far.

Also couldn't crank to normal/loud volumes, so I can't speak for sure. But it's a gnarly pedal with pretty responsive controls, although the "curve" didn't seem to be as effective as I was expecting it to be. Seems to be the mid scoop, but rather slight on it's variation.

Still lots of fun ahead! Damned GAS

Green Rhino is pretty sweet badassery! It's a lot like my modded ODB, but smoother & honestly had a clearer attack. Held the lows & I didn't even get the drive knob over noon. It's rich & sweet.

Sparkle Drive came in the mail today. We'll see, but probably not until next week.

Bluebeard needs more time to figure out. Touchy controls & LOTS of low end. Hard to handle at first. *ATTENTION CHIN BEARD PILL DOOM FANS* (of which i am one) This pedal handles all the 4x15, G#, heevy ****. OMFG does it have lows. Recommended on that alone. You Will NOT lose any bass beef with this guy!

Sparkle Drive was cool, but I don't need this many pedals, so I won't be keeping it around. Green Rhino has replaced my modded/tb Boss ODB. Less shrill highs & a more musical low end. Really, everything I've wanted in a drive pedal for a while now. The funny thing is, I'm not really even boosting the 100k like I thought I'd have to. Just a dab does the trick!
