Green Ringer AND a fuzz: GOT CLIPS!

Sign in to disble this ad
does anybody have clips of a Green Ringer AND a fuzz?

I already have the fuzz taken care of but I'd like to get another pedal from GGG and after Bongo's rave reviews of the Green Ringer - I'm wondering how it's possible to resist.

OR better yet I'd like to hear what a funky octave up + fuzz on bass sounds like.

So if you gots a clip that fits the bill - please link it here!

I'm digging these wacky synth tones!

I haven't got mine anymore, but I've been itching to re-acquire one. One thing, if I didn't make it clear enough in previous posts, is that the two I owned both rolled off a bit of the lows. Also, the output is already a blend of the effected and clean signals, so you can run into some phase cancellation issues when using it in a parallel blend. I expect that the phase reversal switch of my Xotic blender will fix that, but I haven't tried that specific combo yet. I also didn't try modding the ones I had, it was a while back.

So bottom line- the Green Ringer does sound killer but you have to monkey with it (and your rig) to get it to pass full low end.

Bongo - I paid particular attention to that and I ran through the whole schematic testing the frquency points for Each RC filter - I think i know which to change to get more low end - but that might change the overall tonality of the circuit.

You know of any GR Fuzz clips around?

See, to me "GOT CLIPS!" means "I've got clips", not "got clips?"

OK you mooks.

Then let it be clear - I AM looking for clips of some approximation of the Green Ringer WITH fuzz.

Geez.

C'mon - if i'm gonna post clips - it's going to instantly cause GAS.

No why would I want to do that to all of you before I get MY cookies?
