Grounding issue ??
Sign in to disble this ad
Is the wire that I have between all the pedals necessary ?
If I don't have it on I get some noise/60hz hum while touching the pedals. With it on no noise/hum.

There's something wrong like a grounding issue somewhere with your pedals or power supply. You shouldn't need an extra ground outside of the power cables and sleeve of your guitar cable.

I have two power supply's underneath. An 18v for the tone hammer and a 9v for the punch factory and korg.

Sounds like the shield in one of you patch cables is open-circuit. Check them with a multimeter or cable tester.

^^^^ Yes. No normal pedalboard needs an external ground wire.
