New Bass, New Amp, New Mic, New Pedal, New Recording Software (eh gads)
WARNING Massive recording ERRORS in this clip Audio Sample
Opinions on the recording? I'm learning a bunch of new things... figured just shooting out some things would help.
Bass -> Pickle -> Amp -> MIC -> Mixer -> Logic

It seems like a mic placement problem. Whats the mic? Condenser, dynamic? If its a condenser type it's prolly just a mic placement thing. I found that I could get quite the bass "bloom" from an eight inch  speaker, depending on where I put the mic.

I think this mic has a much larger dynamic range and I'm clipping the mixer. I hope to spend some more time educating myself tonight... I'm not recording genius. |

That said, I had it for such a short time I can't remember the 'feel' of it enough to compare the two. Memory is such a fickle thing. |
