I'd love to do some stuff like that, but my soldering skills leave a little to be desired.  Tried a BYOC envelope filter, it... half worked. lol

I didn't etch mine, I got this cool laser label paper... painted the case white, had these funky disco silhouette graphics with stars and such... and two of the controls didn't quite work.
How did you do that etching? I'm familiar with glass etching, but not sandpaper on metal...
