Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking thru the manuals right now and just wondering if anyones been crazy/cool enough to try the guitar version of the GT-10 with a bass.

Maybe even compare/contrast the 2 units?

I have both, mostly they are the same based on the same structures, but there are lots of differences.
The GT-10 has the AutoRiff, and Wave Synth effects, where the GT-10B does not.
The GT-10 does not track that well on some effects like synth, and harmonist well with a Bass below 'A'.
The GT-10B has XLR outputs, and a multi band compressor, and a frequency divider for the A/B channel paths, so effects can be applied to a certain frequnecy range, or use it for a crossover.
The GT-10 has 2 preamps, the GT-10B has 1, but the 10B pre can be moved anywhere in the chain, where the 10 ones are fixed to the A/B channel paths.
The GT-10 only has guitar preamp types, the GT-10B has a selection of bass and 4 guitar preamp types.

Apart from those differences, they are identical.
