GT-2 vs Amptweaker to beat my TVT9

Bit of a pointless thread as I don't think anyones tried the Amptweaker tightdrive, but basically I'm trying to replace my Trace Elliot TVT9 Preamp with a pedal.

The preamp is capable of everything from slightly gritty to full on guitar esq bass shredding with false harmonics, it has a slight loss of low end but only when used stand alone into a power amp, when run into an amp and used like a big distortion pedal it sounds great.

Now it might just be I need to keep it and find a good way of getting it in my signal and carrying it round but I'd like to explore the options first.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Although they don't have the bass version on their site, Sounds Great Music in Heald Green has a Bass TightDrive, so you might check with them to try it out. They just received them last week.

Yeah that's just down the road from me but I get treated like a second class citizen whenever I go in. Because of where they put the bass section people are pushing past you ever 2 minutes.

Might just take the punt from Tone Factor, especially at that price from Sounds Great.
