gt-6b fx floorboard/midi problems

iv got a program that allows you to connect your gt6b to your laptop and edit patches via midi, called gt-6b fx floorboard, but i cant seem to get the laptop to connect to get into bul mode
has anyone else had this problem or got any tips?

Hi, I am the guy that wrote the editor program.
I assume you have a midi device adapter, with the adapter midi-out connected to the GT-6B midi-in, and the adapter midi-in connected to the GT-6B midi-out?

In the GT-6BFxFloorBoard Preferences > midi menu, have you selected the midi device adapter you have as the midi input/output device?

To enter Bulk Mode for patch transfer, the GT-6B must first be set to Bulk Mode, and then the Bulk Mode button pressed in the editor.
