GT-6B help!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok... I bought this thing alittle while ago. I've used it mainly for the basic functions, but nothing more. Recently I decided I wanted to realy dig in to see what this thing can do, but I seem to be running around in circles.

What I want to do is use the phase shifter and the pedal blend at the same time. But the problem is they are both found in the FX-2 Catagory. Is it possible to assign the Pedal plend or phase shift to a different trigger? Or to even turn on the effect in the background constanty to free up the trigger on FX-2 slot? Do I need to play with the signal chain? And if so, how to I change effects in the signal chain?

The effect I'm trying to get is a 5th up 1 up effectlike the one used in a bunch of tool songs where I can hear the note, the 5th up and blend it to an octave with the expression pedal. I think the standalone pedal that does this is a digatech bass whammy I saw on a youtube video.

Anyway, let me know what I can do to get this effect... This hunk of metal should be able to do it.

Thanks!

Hi,
I have one. I am not in front of my GT now but Here is what I think I have set up. I have the phaser set to pedal 3, and the wah set to the Expression pedal toe switch.

That being said, I don't think I have tried using them both together. I will check it out in the morning.

I tested it out, and I was able to use the phaser and the wah at the same time. So at the very least you should be albe to do it that way.
