GT10B as MainStage USB Controller

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi Guys and Gals,

After a lovely Xmas present of Logic Studio, I've been experimenting to see if it's possible to get my GT10B to hook up to my computer (mac) so that I can use the GT10B pedals as USB controllers in MainStage.

So far, I've got the drivers installed and things seem to be fairly pain free. The expression pedal on the GT10B is actually controlling a virtual expression pedal in the software!! Credit to the engineers putting thought into the product. My issue so far is that I cant seem to switch off the processing of the GT10B.

My question: is it possible to switch off the processing of the GT10B and put it into a bypass mode? I know this can be achieved through the tuner function, but it then doesnt give you access to the switches (in said bypass mode).

Is there an easy way to achieve this other than limiting the bank selection to just U01 and creating a whole bank of FX-free tones. There must be some delay added to the signal doing it this way?

Thanks for any thoughts / advice...

Mark
