Guess the dirt

Finally got a couple seconds to throw a few clips of OD pedals together. All clips recorded with my Warmoth J bass loaded with DiMarzio Model J's straight into my laptop mic input (not the greatest way to record). Just curious as to what other TB's think. Let me know which sounds best and if you can guess what the pedal is. Ask any questions about the pedals that you want. I will post what the pedals are in a couple days.

Clip 1 - Clean, no effects

Wow, I love your clean tone. I haven't even started on the dirty tones yet.

[Edit] Preferred the 5th clip, but wasn't a massive fan of any of them.

The Warmoth is a Padouk Neck, Ebony fret board, Korina body and 1980's Fender P-Bass Special solid brass bridge. It growls nice. Both pickups are on full and treble is rolled back a tad.
No pick, I just haven't cut my finger nails in a while.

Hematoma sounded great, others sounded meh.

Wow, cool idea. For reference, what I normally use is the Digitech X-series Bass Driver.

Hematoma - weak.

Fulltone - pretty good

Juggernaut - pretty gainy (good) with a little more bite

Boss - the most clarity out of all of these and just enough distortion when soloed, but would probably be unnoticed in a mix.

Out of these choices I would go Fulltone.

Other than #1, #2 is the only one that won't get lost in a mix IMO.

Clean - good and growly! Loving it!

Clip 2 - not bad, but not great fuzziness.

Clip 3 - A little muffled sounding. I remember this was my only complaint about certain settings on this pedal.

Clip 4 - My favorite of these clips.

Clip 5 - Nasty and a little sputtery, wouldn't be my first choice as it lacks definition. I play fingerstyle and always have my nails clipped way back.

Clip 6 - My least favorite. Sounds extremely nasaly and has way too much high end clank for my tastes.
