Gutting my Keyboard Amp's FX - Will it work?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello folks!
I have a great keyboard amp with some 100 built in FX. I love the FX and they sound great on Bass but the Amp isn't really suited to my bass it seems. I was wondering; Would it be possible to take the FX unit out of an amp like this and use it as a pedal or install it in a different amp? I am guessing this is probably not possible, but any answers are appreciated.

here's the amp if that helps anyone
BEHRINGER: K900FX

thanks!

I'm guessing that's their standard effects module that's in most of their amps. You could get the same thing in another amp or get a Vamp.

I would never dismantle a Behringer....they are made really intricate and kinda cheap...you'll most likely hit many roadblocks along the way that deems it not possible.

I was brought a busted pot on a Vamp to be fixed...can't be done, it must have been soldered by a machine, the solder joints are teeny tiny.
