with which settings to start using it, and what happens when you vary each setting.. especially the feedback, I almost blew my practice amp

its pretty easy man, i got one too.

The nob farthest to the left is the level nob. This affect the level of the delay, not your bass signal, so 12oclock would be a perfect blend, anything below and the natural bass signal is louder, anything over and the delay is louder.

The middle nob is the delay time, this works in conjunction with the 3 way switch underneath it, for short medium and long. This just affect the time of the delay, mess with it for some wacky stuff.

The farthest right is the feedback nob. This control the oscillation, the highest you turn it up and it keeps regenerating and with sound like absolute chaos. put it to about 12 oclock for not to much disturbance and about 2-3 oclock for some exaggeration.

The feedback nob is probably what you think almost blew your amp, i don't think you can blow it like that but if you want it to go nuts like that and are afraid of blowing your amp, just crank the feedback and lay off the overall level for some control.
