Guyatone SV-2

I was just perusing pedals and i was looking at the Guyatone line when i came across the SV-2. It looks like a neat little(literally) pedal. Any demos i came across were with guitars being played through it. I just thought i'd see if anyone had played around with it on a bass and if it's worth picking up.

Thanks!

i have one.
it's a cool effect, and based around the old (discontinued) boss slow gear.
it does eat batteries, and the bypass is not great, but there are some good sounds here. personally i think the behringer Slow Motion does a better job, and can be found for a lot less cash too!

I have the Behringer Slow Motion and I can attest it does its job on bass (it's a bit easier to control on guitar, tho).

You could take a look at assembled kits of the BYOC Lazy Sprocket, too, which is supposedly a better quality (at least construction-wise) clone of the Boss Slow Gear.

Woah... I never noticed the Lazy Sprocket... haha and i've built 3 BYOC kits... Well damn. That's perfect. Thanks for that heads up!

Sure thing. Give us an update on how it works once you've got it. I'm considering upgrading my Slow Motion to a Lazy Sprocket sometime down the line, but only if it really is an improvement (unfortunately, I can't test the Sprocket myself)

Has anyone got any clips of the SV-2 on bass?
