H&K Rotosphere - with bass?

Anyone out there ever try a H&K Rotosphere with their bass rig. I have one (god awefull expensive things) that I got for my guitar rig and I love the sound but now I'm thinking it might be really cool to throw it into my bass rig (Ampeg SVT VR / Berg NV610 / Custom Precision-MM). It does a really good job of leslie emulation. Any experience out there with this set up?

I played around with a Line 6 Roto-Machine. Lots of fun to mess with, but unless you're doing something really proggy or weird with your band, it's more of a distraction than anything else. The kind of distraction that makes the audience and your band mates look at you with unmistakable ***? expressions.
If you decide to pursue it, go stereo and put some space between your cabinets. Awesome.
