H2O visual sound pedal distorting

Sign in to disble this ad
It is "bottoming out" when i attack the E string hard with and with out the effects on. It is definitely the pedal. And it seems like the echo is lightly distorting the sound to. I have tired other cables and etc. Anyone else have this problem?

Thank You

I don't have any experience with this exact pedal, but I had an EHX micro clone theory, sounded great on guitar, but bottomed out on bass. Sounded horrendous, in fact. I ended up replacing it with a different chorus, a small clone in fact, and problem solved.

Are you using an active bass? High output active basses can run pedals out of headroom and cause them to distort. Also, if you're running any pedals in front of the H20 that boost your signal, that can cause things to clip as well.
