Halophaze incoming?

Just got word from Ed that he's ready to make a batch of black Halos. He wanted to know if I still wanted to be on the wait list.

Does this mean that I'm in on this batch? Or, is he merely updating the wait list?

I'm not sure of the protocol here and I've read that Ed doesn't respond to wait list type questions.

I got the same email a few months ago. I passed on it, seeing as how I'm really happy with my Psilocybe and don't want to sink $400+ into a single box right now. Especially since I'd be buying on soundclips only.

No, you should be in on the batch. I just gave up my space on the batch. Good news for someone.

And he should respond. He got back to me in just a few hours.

Yeah he is contacting everyone as "their turn" comes up and asking if they still want their turn.

I received the Bat-Signal as well. Don't need it, shouldn't spend the cash, said yes anyhow. For a polished one though, they are just too sexy. Which means I have to wait for another batch, but after almost 2 years no big deal.

If I don't love it I'm sure someone at TGP will.

I'm in the same boat. Don't need it, but said yes anyway...

I received a payment reminder from Ed, as I was stalling on my decision. I passed. I just can't justify the cost right now. My daughter wants a telescope anyway, and that's my priority.

I actually felt kind of relieved...

As both a pedalhead and an astrophysicist, i both decry and applaud you.

Back on topic, nigh on $400 is just too much for any pedal, i draw the line for a single pedal at £150.......which is why i have a dozen <£100 pedals, i still spend a grand on pedals but i feel less ashamed
