Hi guys, Happy New Year to y'all and THX a million for the support. Hanging out around here and reading the different threads has made me, if not a better bass player, at least much more knowledgeable about effects (and a little shorter in cash, but who cares....gotta make the economy run !). Hope I can return the favor in '10.

I feel the same about the cash. And a few months ago I didn't even know what DD-3 meant lol...

Now I would consider myself somewhat of an authority on basic effect pedals. And I've even opened one up and done a few mods!

Here's to 2010...where I hopefully won't buy as many pedals as I did in 2009.

I bought 5 pedals over a 10 year period before I discovered TB.

I'm not going to complete the second half of that equation.

Val, Tom, Nad,

I know the feeling. I bought a Zoom multi-effect unit 18 months ago and thought I had the effect thing nailed.
Then I discovered this site. I am not the same man anymore.

Haha I know the feeling but I've saved myself huge amounts of hassle and money by listening to what people on here have to say and getting the right pedals that generally don't need replacing. Super grateful for all the help and advice that I've managed to acquire. Time to pass it on to the next round of newbies that need some direction
