hard foam

hi guys,

any stores or online hub suggestions to get some pre-cut hard foam?

i just need it to cover some spaces in my board against the hardshell so that its sturdy in place ... so i don't need a high-end Auralex or similar studio foam

Not sure what you quite want to do, but have you considered expander form. That stuff drys out very hard and can be formed to any size. I would've thought that any Hardware store would stock it.

what about blue insulation foam? get some spray-paint if you're really concerned with aesthetics.

but its just way to costly and i don't need the feature of sonic management .. i just need pure foam something like that, unbranded .. works to fill blank spaces on my pedalboard's side in the hardcase, and also another piece on top to refrain the pedals from moving

You need to take a trip to a Fabric store. Jo-ann Fabrics or something of that sort. They have all sorts of unbranded foam for crafts etc. I'm sure it's not as expensive as that Auralex fill.

I got some foam for gardeners to kneel on - you should be able to get it at home depot/lowes/jo-ann..

Ive used the auralex foam for that. All you should need is 2 or 3 1x1 pieces. I think they cost $3 a piece.
