Hi,
I'm looking for a harmoniser that works well with bass. Sometheing like whammy, but they don't make bass version anymore (is the guitar version any good with bass?).
There's a Boss Harmonist PS-6 which looks interesting, but since it's a fairly new pedal there isn't much info.
Are there any good alternatives?
Cheers
MP.
PS. Yes, yes - I want to play some Tool songs, just in case you wondered |

POG2 can detune but not to pitch.
As stated the PF can do what you want.
The boss units are limited in comparison to those listed above. |

Can anybody comment on the delay capability of PitchFactor? Couldn't find any online demos.
Many Thanks

Not quite as versatile as the Pitchfactor, but more intuitive and with more available voicings. Ryan said that it doesn't allow you to do bends, but I think he meant detuning, because you can absolutely do bends with the HOG. It also is the home of the original Freeze effect that EHX has put in its own cute pedal.
It is HUGE, but it is a great harmony effect.
Here is a clip I made using an SX fretless, a HOG, and a handful of other effects. No other instruments were used in this clip. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page...songID=6524078
And another one; outside of the drum machine, one SX fretless. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page...songID=8348424 (Every time I listen to this one I get a little self aggrandizing wood at the 2:39 mark when the HOG bends the octave down into some pretty serious low freqs)
M9/13 is good as a Whammy substitute, but will not get into HOG/ Pitchfactor territory with regard to multiple voicings.
