So i've been using a hartke bass attack for a year, no problems so far and i can get descent sound out of it, but i know there is better things out there..
so please make a suggestion
Get a Sansamp Bass Driver and you'll realize that the Hartke Bass Attack is a piece of crap. No kidding, I made the mistake of getiing the Hartke first and was blown away by how much better the Sansamp sounds.
Also, both foot switches on my Hartke broke off. No problems at all with the far superior Sansamp.
People are saying the new VT Bass sounds much better than the BDDI, although it lacks the DI output and a blend control which may or may not be an issue. You can always hook up a separate clean DI box like a Radial JDI/ProDI if you need one though!

+1 on the M80.
great DI, and really good tone shaping options.
