based on what I have read, the programmable Sansamp (with the 3 switches on it), doesn't have the same tonal qualities as the BDDI (again, based on other peoples opinions). I'm thinkin about hooking up two in a row, since I already own one....

Where did you read such thing? They're identical.
To achieve what you plan you'd need to plug them parallel, not series anyway.
It can't be very difficult with the parallel out.

I saw that on here somewhere....couldn't find the thread....whatev....

anyway, I just thought ask the question. I already have the money sunk into one and can get another on the cheap.

"If one is awesome, wouldn't two be double the awesome?"

Gain pedals generally don't work that way...

OK, maybe they do, sometimes.

With two SANSamp-wouldn't that just give you a positive AMP? Sorry, bad joke.

If it sounds good do it!

I have two sansAmps in my pedal board. I've got the programmable deluxe courtesy of Stampy, a TB'er, and I have the BDDI. I use them to get different tones/distortions/overdrive sounds, work fine that way.

It would be cool to have two, but if you're using them for different tones at different times you would have a lot of foot piano to play!

Are you still using the same rig you use with Breathin Sand? I did a show with you guys a few years back at Star Central and you had some gnarly tone! I seem to remember a Nightbass unit somewhere in there...

Why not hook a RBI/RPM together like Geddy Lee does? Or the pedal forms, BDDI and Paradriver DI?

Yup, still got it...and love it......

My cover band keeps me busy enough to not wanna haul the big stuff anymore. I have GK 700RB/12 that I use with the sansamp (maybe 2). The sansamp/chorus combo gets pretty nasty too.......

Who were you playing with? and now?

I was in a band called Watera (www.myspace.com/watera) and my new band is called Escape Siren (www.myspace.com/escapesiren)

I hear ya on using the smaller rigs. Then I got an Aguilar 4x12. Definitely worth the extra size and weight!
