Has anyone tried the reissued Ibanez/Maxon Flying Pan?

The idea of an individually controllable panner and phaser is intriguing to me, and I bet you could make some incredibly psychedelic, seasick-type sounds. Its a little pricey, and a pretty big case for what it does. But I'm dying for someone to give me a first-hand impression.

For those who have no idea what I'm talking about, here's the original and here's the reissue

Bumping since it was posted late at night and only like 20 people saw it. Anyone have any idea before I drop two and a half bills on this thing?

Seems like a really cool effect but it's way too pricey and big for my interest in it.

I put in bids on eBay on originals twice. Both times the bidding got way over my limit.

If you do get the reissue I'd love to hear clips.

+1 for clips. But, way too big for me. I had to take off my Pigtronix EP-1 'cause it was too big.

I'm not all that worried about the size. I just relieved my pedalboard of a HOG, so I've got a pretty big opening
