Nope, but when my wife paints up pedals, we always give it a name that's funny (to us or our friends...) or has some significance to us.

IMHO, every pedal should be named after something from Tremors.............

I must admit I had a hard time fighting against the urge of buying a BBE Two Timer based on name and looks. Luckily they are quite hard to find here in Italy, thus I gave up.

I'm not a fan off screened pedals, but maaaaaan that's a nice effect! Two analog delays in one box!!!

Not yet...
but the Wounded Paw Attack Goat is one that I could buy for the name alone.

Yeah. And, as a result, I'm now the owner of the Danelectro Psycho Flange and the EHX Stereo Polychorus.

None of my pedals have humorous names, and that's fine with me.

When I was in high school there was a local guy who built his own line of stompboxes under the Sloth Systems monicker, and he had one fuzzbox called the Magic Fart DistortoWhiz.

And it definitely lived up to its name...

Well, I do want a "The Great Destroyer" by Dwarfcraft Devices, and the reason it caught my attention in the first place was its name, with the Low reference. But, in the end, the only reason for my planning to actually buy one is the fact that it seems to sound good.

I bought the Metal Zone because it had the word "Metal" on it. In my defense: I was 17 at the time.
Still love that pedal although I don't use it anymore.

I bought the RE-20 Space Echo, for the name.

And I do want a Hairy Balls.

Not so much for the name, but because a great national bassist makes them... an they are at a fair price.

Well I want a Communist Pig because of the name and it's pink.

Have a Distructo Noctavia, Truly Beautiful Disaster, Doomsday Device and an Aenima.

I've never bought a pedal based on its name, but I have had high hopes for a few pedals based on their name and would have added them to my board if they'd lived up to expectations.

The first one that comes to mind is the D*A*M Ezekiel 25:17

I must admit I really want a Walking Delay, just cause I've been on a zombie kick lately.

Also, the green stache just looks so cool.
