Having trouble with Behringer overdrive pedal...

Sign in to disble this ad
Basically when I plug it in it makes all the noises it does when it works (i.e. when I twist the plug in the jack of the bass guitar it makes a crackling sound) but when I play there is no sound...Both the cables are fine (I've tested) and the battery is fine. Also, the light that shows it's on still shines.

Sorry if my explanation isn't clear...Thanks in advance for any help

Surprise surprise... Behringer stuff breaks. At least it only took you a pedal to learn.

Unfortunately, Behringer's build quality/building materials generally means that theres a higher chance of the pedal breaking. If the pedal is new, take it back to the shop, otherwise spend the extra buck and get something a bit more hard-wearing.

I sure dig the overdrive on the Boss ODB-3...

Though from what I hear the Behringer BOD100 is a copy of the Boss... But just listen to that ODB-3...

Oh and that sounds like a total input-jack issue, Id say the jack is smoked and needs to be replaced...
