Is headroom a concern with Tremolo pedals?

I was wondering if headroom is typically a concern with Tremolo pedals. My basses have decently strong output signals and I've been been able to distort analog delays just by playing hard enough.

Do Tremolo effect pedals suffer from this issue as well? Particularly analog tremolo pedals.

Headroom is a concern with every single audio processor ever made, bar none.
