Help with Digitech Digidelay...

Sign in to disble this ad
so i've been using the digidelay for a little over the past year without any problems but the last few weeks it's been giving me some problems. basically it doesn't always turn on/off when i stomp on it. sometimes i have to repeatedly stomp on it to get it to switch.

anything simple i can do to fix the problem or do i need to take it to some professional to fix it?

The digi pedals, like the Ibanez and Maxon pedals aren't the easiest pedals in the world of pedals to switch on and off.
I know that Keeley does mods to pedals like the TS to add an better footswitch.

If you try to trigger it by hand, does it switch every time?

no. once in a while it will behave and switch on and off perfectly. other times i need to keep stomping on it for a while till it finally goes on/off. i try stomping lightly and strongly and it doesn't really make a difference
