HELP.. does anyone use the gr-20 & GK-3B with a Bass? I got both for a deal used and as a newer bass player have had a heck of a time playing it. I would greatly appreciate talking with someone that owns one. An example problem is when I strike the "A" string ( 4 string bass) and my finger rest on the "E" after plucking the "A" it seems impossible to not get the "E" (which I am mutting) to not fire off the trigger. I may now be using all the correct terms. Thanks for any help. Want to talk to people how OWN one.

I have used all kinds of synths in the past with bass. I know of the problem you are talking about, and it's easily fixable. Make sure your gk pickup is installed absolutely perfectly, and then dig into the setup section of the synth and go through every parameter regarding the pickup. If you set up the sensitivity correctly, you shouldn't have misfires.

Thanks Benjamin for the reply. I would like to also just find ONE person that OWNS this unit before spend the money to have it done for I clearly am not skill enough to do it.

Again, thanks!!

Well, I did own the unit. I also owned a V-Bass, and several of the pre-GK synths. All will work well as long as you have it set up properly.

Benjamin is mostly right, but it probably isn't going to be a pickup issue if you're getting too much signal. You need to adjust the sensitivity of each string.

If you don't know how to do that, that means you never set it up properly in the first place. Hit the 'SENS' button, and if you don't know what to do from there read the manual.
