Do a search, a thread like this gets posted almost everyday so people have stopped answering then so much, but you're going to get the same answer either way, experiment with your signal chain because there is no right or wrong way to do it (only what sounds good to you).

You'll need to provide some specificity if you want any real chance of receiving useful help. What are you not getting/hearing that you need help achieving? You have to ask questions to get answers. Here's what you gave us:

"In my biology class, I sit at a table with three other people. Diane likes the color pink and thinks dissecting frogs is gross. Douglas collects comics and calls everyone 'brochacho.' Thad wears designer jeans and his dad is city comptroller. I'm really into football, have had a girlfriend for the past six months, and walk home every day by cutting across Chancey Street. Can anyone explain science?"

Just too, too broad. Narrow it down and you'll have better luck.

In addition, it sounds like you've put a lot of work getting your sound where it is, meaning that I wont have nearly as good an idea as you how your gear is working or why it is not unless you really get into why you want a change.
