Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys I have a big issue. Basically during a gig one of my band mates managed to step ontop of the power input on my pedal braking the connector that goes into the GT-10B so I bought a new one. Plugged it in and it doesn't turn on.

Test the new power supply with some other compatible gear, or test with a multimeter if you know how. This will ensure the new power supply is functioning. Obviously if it is not, then neither will your GT-10B.

If the power supply is working then obviously something is wrong with the GT-10B itself. I haven't taken mine apart in a long time, but usually it's a handful of screws on the bottom of the unit and you can easily access the guts. It's possible the power connector in the unit has separated from whatever it's connected to and needs repair. At that point you should probably take it to a local tech to fix for you. Replacing a power jack shouldn't be that expensive of a repair.

Thank you for the response Im looking for my multimeter right about now so ill test that out soon. I also took the board apart and all the sodder points are still there so it might be either the new supply, or innards or the power jack. In which case, does anyone know an approximate of how much it is?
