Actually, I'm not a big P fan though. I prefer J's. Point is just that there are many cool slap sounds out there to be had, even with a P bass. |

|  | Se habla espaņol | | Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: La Jolla,CA | | | I get a nice J-Bass slap sound out of my P...I scoop it a ton, roll of the tone just a wee bit to balance it out, and put some compression on it. Maybe add some chorus or reverb if you reeeally want it to cook. If you have a J-bass, that whole setup just got a lot easier for you.
