Arrow Help identifying an effect (SOUNDCLIP)

Band is Underoath, song is 'Heart of Stone' album is 'Cries of the Past' (one of their earlier albums).

All I can tell is that its some sort of Wah Wah effect. I play in a band that sounds alot like this, and really like the sound of this effect. So if anyone has any ideas on what effect the bassist is using, post away (also recomendations as to what effect can *achieve* this sound that I can buy would be wonderfu l) .

Hmm, I don't know but it sounds kind of like a ring modulator or some weird filter, maybe one of the Moog pedals? Perhaps a combination.

A MXR Phaser 90 is a good enough phaser for bass

The Phase 100 just has control of the Depth of the effect along with the speed.

Phase 90 has an adjustable rate only, Phase 100 has 4 phase sweeps and adjustable rate...both are great pedals

No, even though they are similar in their swirling and whooshing, they are totally different circuits.

The Phase 100 is a ten stage phaser. The Phase 90 is a four stage phaser.
