Help with the korg Dtr-2000

Every video I've seen of people using them the tuning lights are white mine are red why is that are there more than 1 model? Also when I tune I tune in chromatic should I be tuning in bass and which display should i be tuning in cent hertz or strobe?

-I've never seen a DTR with white lights.

-Chromatic mode will pick up any note you play, thereby making the bass, guitar, dropped, and all the other modes pointless.

-cent, hertz, strobe: personal preference. They're just display options.

If you search on the korg dtr-2000's theres an all black version and theres a version with silver on the top and the bottom.
The all black version has the white on the tuning meter the silver one has the red.
Is this because of how old they are?
