Help with line6 bass pod xt live

I don't have a manual and didn't see a down loadable one. Thing does have some killer sounds I'm no synth or flange guy but it hada couple distortion and amp models as well as cabs and comp-mild effects I liked. Info settings please? Ps I had bass pod standard before just wanted more options

If you can USB it to a computer, download the Gearbox software also (should be free). It makes editing the patches soooo much easier, at least until you get the hang of it.

Good plan, except that I don't think Gearbox is compatible with the Live XT...you want to use Line 6 Monkey software to manage all the various firmware updates etc...

Then you want Line 6 Edit to edit and save patch settings. Just connect your Live XT to the PC with this application using a mini USB cable (I robbed mine from my HP printer) and you will have a very intuitive visual layout of all the various amp models, cab choices, room, stomp boxes, modulation etc...

You can also download and upload patches that other users have tweaked.

Just wondering how far can I update my xt live? Same software as x3?

Download Line 6 Monkey. It will let you know if any updates are applicable/available.
