Help!-Looper, BR600, R16, Jamman

Hi,
I know there are 100's of posts on loopers, make this 101!
I have searched through most of them...and the Jamman vs Boss debate rages on.

I would like to try looping, but it would be great if the looper had the functionality to record a gig too.

I think I can do that with a Jamman with its memory. I guess Aux in to the pedal and hit record.
As a looper though, the jamman sounds like it has weird pedal push timing and also no fade out....how do you stop the loop?
So Jamman $250+$100 footswitch =$350.

The RC50 seems too monstrous, plus I don't need all the modeling, though I wish the 20xL had a USB!

The EH2880 is $500 with a footpedal. You need a footpedal if you want to loop live, right?

Then I saw people were using the Boss BR600 or Zoom R16 as recorders, which is what I want too. I would think I could also loop with those...BUT then you have no footswitch.

Any suggestions so I can do loops, and also record some practices, gigs?

Is there anything on the market I am just unaware of?

Thanks,
Berg

If you want to use it live, you'll need mreo then a single track you can overdub, which kinda means you got to pick between the rc-50, ehx 2880, and the boomerangs, as for the record part idk, cant help ya
