Help me decide on a pedal!
Ok so basically with the recent events that keep coming in, I have had to urge and the itch to get a new pedal. After some scanning, it boils down to three main ones,
i) Zoom B3 Multi Effect
ii) Ditto Loop Pedal
iii) Boss RC3 Loop Station
The purpose of the pedal is because I plan to start performing and recording solo songs, hence, the loop pedals. I do have an interest in the Zoom B3, but the fact the loop is only for 40 seconds makes me hesitant. Then the Ditto Looper seems cool, but it requires an external power source, which means I have to get an adapter, which means spending extra, which I don't really like. (I've got a ton of batteries lying around) Then I've heard tons of great things about the Boss RC3, but the price is abit on the hefty side for me. Regard less of the choice, after this purchase, I do not wish to spend any more money on pedals until the far future. (say 5-10 years, when I'm more financially stable).
I currently own two pedals, a drive and an auto-wah. They were both from the Behringer line of copy pedals. The overdrive gets the job done, but I can't stand the auto wah. So based of all that I've said, what should I pick?

40 seconds is a long time for a loop, I can't really see a situation where you'd need more than that, so any of the pedals you listed would be more than adequate (though I'm not much of a fan of the Ditto because of the lack of control). Also, you should definitely get a power supply if you're going down the pedal route, batteries suck.

Zoom b3 has a 40 second looper with overdub, includes a power supply and is generally great.

You get a B3, you're gonna get a whole lot more that just a little looper. If I was to spend the money, B3 all the way. But if you want simplicity and a loop for days (up to 5 min) go with the ditto. So you have to buy a 1spot, $20. Big deal. IMO anyway. Don't know much about the boss.

Had tons of fun with an RC-2 for many years. Not sure how much better the RC-3 is - but you can get an RC-2 for like 90. If you're gonna go with a straight up Looper I'd def say RC. The drums on it are basic but still really fun.

Forgot to say my warning - RC-2 using a 1spot whines. Really annoying. Go with the 9v.

Zoom B3 has some very good envelopes, good fuzz lots of very good modulations, excellent tuner and a good looper.
If you find the need for more loop time then you can get the ditto or other looper later.
