help Me find bargains on Ishibashi (or smething interesting)

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello Guys!
My girlfriend Is In japan Currently,
And she could grab for me a couple Of effects (just a couple, not more) from there.I want a souvenir

I've checked Ishibashi The "u-box" used_staff_shop ,

and with a little of Luck
if she grabs for me 2 effects (they should take little space on Luggage)she also could avoid Customs fees.

I 've thought to ask Here If You have something to suggest.

So far i did check a "rust ride "there which would cost me the half ,taken from there and brought by her,and a japanese boutique distortion box.

I 'm not so expert In effects generally ,so If You have something to suggest Looking at the site
(http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/u_box/)
i would gladly listen.

!!!!!!!
Off course just "little space staff" like effect boxes,as it should fit the luggage of my Girlfriend..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could be a bargain or something really rare and good (for You).
..an envelope filter..an overdrive tasty for bass..a distortion good for bass..a special gate or comp (well i did check already comps but was too expensive ,or very common staff)

I hope I did'nt screwed up posting the question Here.
In fact should be a "suggestion effect" topic ,so i Believe is the right place.

Thank You very Much In advance to all of You

There's a Rust Ride in the classifieds by the way, not sure if it's cheaper than what you're planning though....

There's a couple of them, really....One in the US and one in, I think, Singapore.

Thanks but i did'nt mean to start a "rust ride" thread..as you read the addon here is "my girlfriend bring for me,so no shipping_fee".
ANd i kindly request who is more "expert " than me in effect to check Ishibashi_u_box (the Only shop th. i know in japan) and point to me potential interesting things.
(Nevertheless i see Th. price th. you sell is very fair though ,thank You anyway).

I haven't checked Ishibashi yet (I'll go do that in a minute) but if I was going to Japan I know I would bring back a Crews Maniac Sound preamp stompbox. I used to have a one-channel version that was great, and they have a two-channel version now which would be very useful.

OK, so I looked through the first 17 pages, and the only items that I personally thought were worth the trouble of bringing from Japan were the AMT Fatal Tube and the Fodera X-Caliper. I haven't used either of them, but they looked very cool and worth a gamble. Also the Boot-Leg pedals all have pretty good prices- the only question is whether they sound good on bass. Their "Hizumi Quattro Valvole" looks cool, I'd gamble on it. The Maxon CS-550 chorus seems like a fair price.

thank You bongo For Your Time !Appreciated a lot!Gonna check what you suggest.also i saw bb bass preamp ,and i'm tempted by the crane tortoise distortion for the bass (japanese stuff),but this one has no samples anywhere
(fodera is a bit too epensive by the way,but being a comp is Your Coffee_cup i understand ;-))
