Help me find a new limiter...

I've done a bit of searchig, but couldn't really find a whole lot on the subject. My old Boss LM-2B died on me, so I need to find myself a decent limiter, or a really transparent compressor.

I like a really transparent effect, with just a bit of peak attenuation with maybe a bit of gain boost. I'm Looking to spend under $100. Any suggestions?

if you liked the boss one, why not get another one.

BBE Optostomp is nice, and fairly transparent. It might add a slight touch of brightness, so if you are going into a bright sounding rig, it might not sound right. It has a soft knee, but if you overdo it with the settings, it might over compress.

Second the optostomp, I think BBE makes a limiter also but I havnt used it. I run it after all of my pedals besides delay, wah and my sansamp with the volume all the way up and compression around 10 Oclock and its very transparent.
