Help me identify/school me on the Univox Superfuzz

Sign in to disble this ad
This is available to me for $140, but I know next to nothing about them:

Are they good for bass, is this a good deal, is it authentic, etc etc?

From the demos Ive heard from gearmanndude and a couple others, it doesnt sound like it would retain the low end all that well....but Ive been wrong before

$140 for a that particular clone is a fair price, as it's $199 new. That's the pre-Voodoo Lab bitchfest version, though, as it is now just the Wattson Classic Electronics Fuzz.

+1! It has two settings...one doesn't retain lows that well, but the other makes the neighbors feel...ummm, regular.

He lost me on his clean sound.

This guitar demo sounds beefier.

I’d go check it out and play it if possible and decide from there. The price seems to be right.

There were few threads on Wattson SuperFuzz - you'll easy find it. As I remember it's not so bad, but still guys were modding it or using with a blender.
