Help me spend $150 at GC

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a $100 at Living Social deal at Guitar Center that's about to expire plus $50 I could throw in the pot. I don't NEED anything (like I thought I would when I bought the LS deal.) Thinking a pedal could be cool. Help me out TB'ers!

Thinking about:
Big Muff Bass (or similar fuzz)
VT Bass

Any other ideas?

A list of what you have for gear as of now could be useful, so we don't make suggestions that you already have, but maybe a BBE Optostomp for a solid compressor at a good price?

Go for an effect that you currently don't have, but may have been curious how it work in your chain. Describe your current setup to us, please.

If you don't need anything, then how about looking for something useful that you wouldn't otherwise purchase. Like a power conditioner, graphic eq, or a wireless system. Or maybe stock up on things you always replace like strings, picks, tubes, etc.

This would probably be the responsible direction to take. No one enjoys spending money on cables and such, but they are needed to make music.

sansamp VT is always fun. a super luxe leather bass strap would be cool, but i doubt they have anything over $50 in that department.

you know what's always useful, too, ear buds. may want to check out their audio section.

How about a new speaker cab? Something of a different config than you currently run with your amp head?

strap locks, better tuners, a really sweet strap with unicorns or zebras on it or something, 20lbs of monster cables, something with the word "boss" on it, something without the word "boss" on it, or maybe the entire set of digitech hardline pedals because hey man they're pretty much made by fisher price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a couple of nice straps, new pedal, new tuner?

I hate trying to spend money when I can only spend it in one place!
