help. no idea what to do

hi guys.
i have a warwick bc40 and i am wondering if their is anyway i could use effects with it. it has no send/return plugs.

and if i can. would i then plug the bass (though the effect pedeals) into the active input instead of the passive inport?

That's not a problem just go bass-effects-passive input on the amp. That will work perfectly fine without problems. If you find that your amp starts to distort when using the effects (unless the Effect should distort) then just use the active input otherwise passive will work 99% of the time for most people!
