Help with Pedal Power 2 Plus and Maxon Ad999

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey Y'all,
I am mostly an upright player these days and happy to get some work with the electric. I am trying out the Maxon ad999 delay pedal with the Pedal Power 2+.

My question before I blow anything up is does the Ad999 power into any of the inputs in the PP2+ with standard cable and 'at normal'?

The only thing I could find on this was for the AD-9 pro which says that the AD-9 plugs into inputs 5 or 6 (normally reserved for the Line 6-type devices) 'off normal' to account for the large amount of power required to power up the AD-9. But I can't find any instruction on cabling the AD999 specifically.

I am so _not_ an effects gal. LOL.

Thanks very much in advance.

You should have absolutely no trouble powering the AD999 with any of the outlets on the PPII+. It draws 46 mA at 9VDC, which is easy-peasy for the normal setting of all of the PPII outlets.
