I need to find some. Can anyone name some really Mid Bumped Distortion pedals

It dosn't matter if all the low end is lost becuase i can clean blend it so thats not so much of a problem i just need a high gain high mids distortion pedal

I think that would be "most" of them.

I was about to suggest that. You can probably even find one with a built in clean blend

Also theres a thread a couple pages back about getting a really nasally distortion sound. Nasally=high mid hump

As far as I know, it's the opposite. Its a muff clone (or really a clone of a muff clone), so its mid scooped

DOD 250 is another option.

Pickle Pie B is Swollen Pickle clone, by the way, kugel's absolutely right.

I didn't find the DOD 250 to have a mid bump...more of a mid scoop. A mod to add a tone pot helped a lot though!

Look into the Fulltone Bass Drive w/ MOSFET. TS clone w/ lots of fun options.

I know the Animato is a mid bump pedal...

So for the guys on here, the RAT and the Hardwire Tube Distortion would work as well.

Try an HM 2 as well, from Boss.

Let's not forget the Fulltone OCD. That thing cuts through a mix like a Ginsu.

Maybe its just because I'm used to muff-type fuzzes, but I don't hear a(s an extreme) scooped sound.

Hasn't the VooDoo Labs Sparkledrive got a big mid bump to it?

Ashdown J-Lo Hyperdrive? It has a clean blend built in, and the dirt side only contains the mid-range, and you can tune the frequency. I'll sell you mine for a good price if you want to try it out!

my vote is on the RAT variants, more than likely the rat II if you're not concerned with low end. the LM308 ones kill in the mids.

It does. When I engage mine I can easily cut through the mix.

The Tech21 Blonde. Meant to emulate Fender amps. With the character knob above 12 o'clock there is a pronounced midrange bump meant to give the flavor of a tweed amp.

I have a Rocktron Zombie distortion. For being a relatively cheap pedal, it's way beyond decent, IMO. It can get the mids VERY pronounced - cuts like a knife.
