hiss from my zoom b2

I ended up taking my b2 off of my gigging board, as I noticed a hiss when plugged into it. I am using a power supply I got off of ebay, which was listed for the b2. Is some hiss expected with this pedal? Or is it the power supply. Could I use my one spot?

Its been a while but i think my b2 ran off my 1spot. More important is are you using it in an effect loop? If not try turning down the gain on your amp.

Is that power supply 12v 300mA? I use the PS that came with mine. No hissing issues.

Mine hissed when I ran it on my onespot. No hissing when I run it on the power supply it came with.

I don't have any hiss issues with either the B2 or B2.1u with a Zoom or 1Spot power supply. The Zooms can act badly with some other pedals, eg I cannot use the Submarine with the Zoom pedals.

I lost my zoom b2.1u power supply, so what would you recommend me do, also does it take a 12v because on the back of the zoom it says 9v?

I believe they all use 9v 300mA power supplies. Do not plug a 12v PS in there!

Do you have play active basses?...if you do, try turning down the treble boost a little bit and add a little bass boost on your active bass.

Ok well I found my problem. One or two of my pots are actually acting up on me and causing the hiss, when I use only my bridge pickup, it's silent as a whisper, but if I touch that bridge tone or volume knob, there's just this constant buzz and hiss and it's awful..... looks like I've got a small bit of work in front of me.
