Hissing & Static Noise...

Sign in to disble this ad
I just got two used boss pedals off ebay a CE-5 , and BF-2. Both make a hissing/Static noise when i play them through my bass. When i play them on a guitar they play fine no hissing or static.I also have a
Boss RC-2 but it doesn't hiss at all when i play bass or guitar through it.
The only difference with these is the RC-2 runs on a 9v battery, and i have power supplies for the BF-2/CE-5. Do you think that is the problem i should just try a actual battery?

Try the new pedals with batteries before doing anything else.
Actually, you should have done that before posting this thread
